As a result of recent discussions with current coaches, club representatives and South Australian Sports Institute (SASI) personnel, a more efficient structure and plan has been developed regarding Super-Drome track training sessions. This is in aim of promoting better co-operation between Cycling South Australia (CSA) and SASI's goals, improving coaching delivery and identifying clear pathways for both riders and coaches.
The format in which has been designed to develop the network of SASI coaches and provide CSA members with high quality coaching is as follows:

Monday Night - Controlled Race Simulation
6pm - 8:30pm (Juniors & Seniors)
These are not race nights. Instead they are controlled race simulation nights set up to promote maximum opportunity to develop skills and work on weaknesses. This is an open night split into two sessions depending on ability. The coaches will contact you after you have registered to advise which session you will be in. Anyone can come and SASI coaches will be there to provide coaching feedback. SASI are also aiming to have instant video analysis for review after each race when needed.
The timing and structure will depend on numbers and these nights are subject to change.
Cost: Juniors: $15 per session and Seniors: $20 per session.

Tuesday Night - Endurance Training Session
6pm - 8pm
Arrive from 5:30pm for a 6pm start
For Experienced Open and Masters Riders. Expert coaching provided by Coach Graeme Zucker.
Cost: $15 per session.
Wednesday Night - Junior Skills Session
Junior Novice & TID - 5:30pm -7:00pm
Skills Session - 6:00pm - 8/8:30pm (skilled track bunch riders only)
The aim of this night is to invite all experienced Juniors to come along and be taught specific skills and tactics in a systematic and structured approach.
Cost: Juniors: $15 per session or $65 for five consecutive sessions.

Thursday Night - SASI Endurance/Sprint, Talent ID and Sprint Training Session
3pm - 7pm (SASI Endurance), 7pm - 8pm SASI Talent ID and 8pm - 9.30pm Sprint Training Session
The Talent ID kids will start off with a formalised coaching structure/system and once the basic skills are learnt progress into the Level 1 Skills session. The Sprint Training Session is targeted at Masters and Seniors, but also available to other experienced riders. Coaching provided by Eddie Smith.
Cost: $15 per session or $40 for three sessions and includes bike hire if required. After three sessions bike hire is no longer included and will be an additional $10 per session.
Friday Night - Open, Junior and Adult Novice Riders and Para-Cycling
6.30pm - 8.30pm (Open, Junior and Adult Novice Night) and 7:00 - 8:30pm (Para Cycling)
The Junior & Adult Novice session is for those who are keen to 'Come and Try' riding the track. This session is also for riders who want some extra time on the track, with coaching provided by Eddie Smith.
Cost: $15 (if you have your own track bike) or $20 including bike hire!
Saturday Afternoon - Adult/Novice Women's Session
3pm - 5pm
*Occasional Sunday Session
On Saturdays the Super-Drome track is open only to female cyclists [U17 to Masters].
Come and learn to ride the track and be guided by an experienced coach in a welcoming environment. All ages and abilities welcome - a track bike will be provided if you don't have one and no booking is required. Cycling SA members and non-members welcome. Come and have a go!

Corporate and Private Training
Corporate, fundraising and private sessions are available at the Adelaide SuperDrome. Track bicycle hire, coaching and insurance for sessions are all able to be provided. To find out more, contact the Cycling SA office on (08) 8260 1800.
