The Megafert Burra Classic Cycling Race is on Saturday 7th August. It’s the 90th edition of the Burra, dating back to the first race in 1907 and hosted by Norwood Cycling Club.

This year sees the race head to Mt Bryan, return back past Burra to Robertstown and return to Burra to a finish in front of the Burra Town Hall, for a distance of 125kms.

The fastest time and possible race winner is expected to come from riders like Chris Jongeward, Michael Stallard, Chris Martin or previous winner Russell Gill.

But if the Scratch Markers don’t make it to the front of the race, expect a fast finish from one of the Korean International Women. The quartet who make up the Korean National Track Pursuit Team, have this winter based their training in Adelaide, and have been racing locally with a lot of success. Start List:
